EXPERIENCE

Selected ORACLE IDM (XELLERATE) Projects :

CHICK-FIL-A, INC. (Atlanta, GA) Mar. 06 - Aug. 06; Mar. 07 - Aug. 07

  • Successfully led the deployment of Oracle IDM (Xellerate) on Windows 2003/JBoss 4/Oracle 10g to manage the identities of 50,000 employees of a restaurant chain. Employees must be provisioned within ten minutes.
  • Implemented approval workflows in Java and Adapter Factory. Wrote more than 30 Java classes to provision and reconcile with customer IT systems. Developed custom tool to migrate systems from development to production.
  • Helped with Oracle Access Manager (CoreID) deployment. Wrote custom authentication plugin and custom identity event plugin.

FHLB ATLANTA (Atlanta, GA) May - June 05

  • Produced technical specifications detailing access request, manager approval, and provisioning workflow.
  • Designed and implemented Oracle Xellerate approval and provisioning workflows to manage more than fifty applications, thousands of users, and hundreds of access roles. Developed Java adapters to provision in-house database applications.

SHERWIN-WILLIAMS, INC. (Cleveland, OH) Dec. 04

  • Integrated Xellerate and the client’s LDAP server that manage more than 30,000 employees.
  • Created Java adapters to provision and reconcile in-house database applications.

ERCOT (Austin, TX) Nov. 06 - Feb. 07

  • Architected Sun IDM 7 solution for a Texas electric company. Employee population less than 1000 but company is highly regulated and audited on a regular basis.
  • Headed the IDM implementation consisting of seven request workflows (each with up to three levels of approval), HR synchronization (including transfer and termination), and provisioning/reconciliation of XML files simulating customer IT systems.
  • Mentored junior IDM engineer in Sun IDM best practices such as source code control of XPRESS files, automated builds, debugging with NetBeans, and peer review meetings.

MA DEPT. OF PUBLIC HEALTH (Boston, MA) Nov. 05

  • Implemented Sun IDM forms and workflows for the Health and Human Services portal. The portal is powered by Sun JES (Portal, Application Server, Access Manager, and Directory Server) as part of a Service Oriented Architecture.

DTE ENERGY (Detroit, MI) Oct. 04 - Feb. 05

  • Maintained Sun IDM solution. Led the upgrade of IDM 3 to version 4. Created custom scripts to reduce the upgrade time from a day to a few hours. Optimized workflow performance and fixed request form bugs.
  • Added workflow that grants temporary privileges to a user.

Selected MICROSOFT IDENTITY INTEGRATION SERVER (MIIS) projects :

MICROSOFT CORP (New York, NY) Dec. 05 - Mar. 06

  • Participated in the design and development of the MIIS SAP MA. The MA uses Component Interface to manage SAP accounts.
  • Wrote more than fifteen C# automated scripts for Quality Assurance.
